Fentanyl Testing Kit Instructions

Step 1: Prepare your sample

• Powders, tablets, crystals, or liquids: Tap the vial (green cap) so the liquid is at the bottom. Crush sample into fine powder if needed, then roll the swab over it 4–5 times to collect particles.
• Plant samples (e.g., cannabis): Tap the vial so the liquid is at the bottom. Take ~50 mg (pea-sized), place it in the vial, and stir firmly with the swab handle until the liquid slightly changes color.

Step 2: Mix in the vial

Open the vial with the green lid, insert the swab fully (if using powder/crystals/tablets), and roll it around 10 times. Close the cap tightly and shake vigorously for 10 seconds to mix thoroughly.

Step 3: Apply drops to test device

Open the small transparent cap on the green top and add 2-3 drops into the test unit until the strip absorbs. (If drops don’t go in right away, add slowly one by one until absorbed.)

Step 4: Wait

Leave the test to develop for 1-3 minutes.

Step 5: Read the results

Compare the test lines with the instructions provided to interpret the outcome.

• Any faint visible line (no matte how faint) on the T section, indicates a negative test (no fentanyl detected)
• If the test is invalid in any way, throw the test away and either try again, or dispose of sample.
